Cooper and Reynolds to attend Mallory Bike Bonanza
John Cooper and John Reynolds will both be attending the Mallory Bike Bonanza, being held on the 30th and 31st July 2016.
The two racers have confirmed their attendance at the annual event held at the Leicestershire Circuit today (Friday), significantly contributing to the already star-studded line-up.
John Reynolds, the first rider to successfully secure the 100mph lap record at Mallory Park Circuit in 1992 and multiple time British Superbike champion will be joining current British Superbike riders including Hawk Racing Buildbase BMW’s race winner and present rider Richard Cooper alongside team mate Lee Jackson.
With a career firmly embedded in the Mallory Park history books, John Cooper the original ‘Master of Mallory’ will be returning to the Friendly Circuit, reliving memories including his outright victory over the reigning 500cc world champion, Giacomo Agostini at the Race of the Year aboard a BSA Rocket 3 in 1971.
Natalie Hansard, Manager at Real Motorsport Limited, “ It’s great that so many racing personalities are getting behind our 60th anniversary celebrations and supporting the Mallory Bike Bonanza. John Cooper and John Reynolds are both welcome additions to our ever growing list of star guests due to attend over the course of the weekend. Unfortunately Paul Smart can no longer attend, but hopefully we will see Paul at future events.
Spectators have just six days left to purchase their tickets for the event at the advanced, discounted rate. Lines will close on Thursday 21st July, however will still be available to purchase on the gate, alongside a special 60th anniversary gift bag which can also be purchased on the gate”.
This year the Mallory Bike Bonanza, with help from Colin Seeley and his charity the Joan Seeley Memorial Trust will be supporting two chosen charities, Rainbows Hospice for Children and Young People and the Derbyshire, Leicestershire and Rutland Air Ambulance. All donations will be distributed between both charities equally to purchase specialist equipment required by the charities.
