DESCRIPTION:Bob Gerard Memorial Trophies\nwith the Vintage Sports Car Club\n \nThe Vintage Sports Car Club will bring the celebrated Bob Gerard Memorial Trophies Meeting to Mallory Park on Saturday 11th August.\nThe Leicestershire venue is a firm favourite amongst the Club’s Competitors and Spectators\, down to its grassroots feeling and superb track that always encourages top quality racing\, with the celebrated annual Handicap Race for Pre-1918 Edwardian Cars sure to be the highlight of the day\, if not the year. \nThe unique event – the only one of its kind in the world – regularly attracts a capacity grid of international Pre-1918 machinery\, with almost all taking part over 100 years old. \nThe day’s title feature will honour local British Racing hero\, Bob Gerard who\, having competed so successfully at another well-known Midlands circuit for many years\, was invited to open the newly constructed Mallory Park Race Circuit in 1956\, with one of the most challenging and famous corners in the country still bearing his name today. \nWith its amphitheatre setting\, Mallory Park offers some of the best Spectator viewing in the UK\, with many elevated areas from which you can enjoy the action outdoors or from the comfort of your own vehicle.  Once again\, those arriving in Pre-war cars are encouraged to gather in the dedicated parking area above the Devil’s Elbow parallel to the Start/Finish straight whilst you can also follow the access roads around the edge of the circuit and park up all the way around as far as the Edwina’s Chicane. \nAs at all VSCC events\, there will be free entry to the Competitor Paddock\, accessed via the footbridge over the Start/Finish straight; here you will be able to get up close to the competing machinery\, speak to the drivers\, and explore the day’s Trade Stands and Autojumble. \nTickets will be available on the gate\, priced at £15.00\, concessions £12 and children under 16 go free. \nFor more information on the Vintage Sports Car Club\, visit their website here. \nFor the event timetable\, click here

DESCRIPTION:The Mallory Bike Bonanza returns to Mallory Park Circuit this weekend!\nStar Guests confirmed to attend the 2017 Bonanza! \nFeaturing an all-star line-up\, the annual Mallory Bike Bonanza\, returns to the Leicestershire circuit on the 08th and 09th July 2017. \nThe 1.35 mile circuit\, nestled within the heart of the Leicestershire country side will be the host for racing stars past and present\, who will be descending on the venue which is often dubbed the ‘Friendly Circuit’ for this not to be missed family event. \nIn the paddock\, spectators will have the chance to mingle amongst racing stars past and present including; Adrian Craig\, Alex George\, Bill Simpson\, Chris Mayhew\, Colin Seeley\, John Cooper\, Mick Grant\, Niall MacKenzie\, Paul Smart\, Ray McCulloch\, Ron Chandler\, Sammy Miller\, Sylvan Guintolli\, Taylor MacKenzie\, Tommy Robb\, Trevor Nation\, with more names due to be released in the lead up the Bonanza. \nThe action packed weekend\, organized by the circuit’s management team Real Motorsport Limited\, once again promises an array of interesting bikes and sidecar outfits that can be seen taking to the track in parades throughout the weekend. Saturday is all about PR5 road machines\, whilst Sunday focuses on PR6 race machines\, and the highly anticipated Mallory Masters parade. \nThe Mallory Bike Bonanza will once again feature a round of the Hyundai British Sidecar Championship\, which after last year’s success and sensational win by Ricky Stevens and Ryan Charlwood\, the championship will feature extensive practice and qualifying sessions\, concluding with two twenty-lap races on the Sunday. \nHave you ever fancied a go as passenger in a top flight British Sidecar Championship outfit yourself? Well\, if you have\, twenty pounds (£20.00) will buy you two laps of the Mallory circuit in the hands of a regular championship runner\, and we promise you an experience you will never forget! Visitors should register your interest in the Santander Salt/RKB-F1 awning and ask for Barry Nutley.  Make sure if you intend to ride bring the correct clothing (Helmet/Gloves/Boots and leathers).  All proceeds from the taxi rides will be forwarded to the Facebook fund-raising page for the victims of the horrific Grenfell Tower fire in London. \nAway from the track\, more than 20 motorcycle owners clubs have already signed up to take part in Club Central. Guests will be greeted with a great display of machinery from many different manufacturers and many different eras.
